We would like to thank you for your interest in the Pacto app.
The minimum viable product (MVP) of Pacto was released in Winter 2021 and made available to early adopter in Lebanon. The MVP was designed to enable users to create, negotiate and manage tenancy contracts and relationships. Pacto - as it existed - was meant to be the first step in a broader vision aimed at helping people solve common challenges faced during the rental process and during the tenancy period.
Unfortunately, in May 2021, a decision was made by NRC to discontinue internal investment and close down the service.
What this means
The Pacto app will be closed on 28-June-2021. All user data collected to date will be permanently deleted, connected services will be discontinued, and the app will cease to function as intended. NRC will retain no data – personal or otherwise - from any User of the Pacto app. The app has been unpublished from the Google Play store and is no longer findable via search.
While this in the end of Pacto for now, we remain hopeful that one day what we were seeking to create will come into existence - whether through a renewed interest on the part of NRC or through the efforts of another entity.
The closure of the Pacto app does do impact any of NRC’s other ongoing services. The links below for Pacto’s Terms and Conditions of app usage and the Pacto Privacy policy remain active via the links below.

Pacto application is an online marketplace that enables persons with registered profiles to let or lease properties with a specific focus on the low-income and informal segments of the private real estate rental market. By using the Pacto application, you are bound by these terms & conditions, cf. Section 17.
The services and functionalities provided through the Pacto application aims to provide both Users who seek to rent/rents a property and Users who seek to rent out/rents out their property with the tools needed to safely and securely negotiate and enter into formalized lease agreements and transparently manage their relationship during the period of tenancy.
