In cooperation with InterAction, NRC is seeking a consultant to establish a baseline of its existing good practices and gaps, and to produce a more concrete roadmap for filling identified gaps and consolidating existing good practice throughout its systems and structures.
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has long committed to fulfilling the objectives of the 2013 Centrality of Protection Statement and the 2016 IASC Protection Policy, through its programming, advocacy and coordination work.
NRC has recently decided to establish a strategic initiative to consolidate and strengthen its institutionalisation of the Centrality of Protection, and is seeking a consultant to help launch that work. In addition to consolidating its capacity to contribute to HCT-level protection strategies, NRC is aiming to advance its own capacity to implement protection risk reduction across its programmes and interventions.
Deadline for submissions is 21 August 2026 at 23:59 EDT.
