As prolonged conflict, repeated displacement, and the deterioration of essential services continued to deepen humanitarian needs, NRC remained committed to delivering timely, principled, and needs-based assistance to communities affected by the crisis.
Through an integrated, multi-sectoral response, NRC provided support in education, protection, information, counselling and legal assistance, housing, land and property rights, shelter, water, sanitation and hygiene, and emergency cash assistance. These interventions helped meet urgent needs while strengthening the resilience of displaced and vulnerable communities.
The 2025 Annual Report demonstrates that flexible, predictable, and sustained humanitarian funding can deliver meaningful results, even in some of the world's most challenging operational environments. At the same time, it highlights a persistent gap between growing humanitarian needs and the resources available to address them.
As NRC looks ahead to 2026, the organization remains committed to expanding protection, improving equitable access to essential services, and advancing durable solutions for displaced people and host communities. Continued support from donors and partners will be critical to sustaining this impact and reaching those who remain in need.
