NORCAP is seeking an experienced consultant to update and revise the NORDEM manual on human rights monitoring and provide guidance on the design and delivery of training based on the revised manual. Developed in 2002, the Manual serves as a key resource for NORDEM’s Human Rights Training and a practical reference for field missions. The consultancy will ensure that both the manual and the training reflect current international human rights standards, methodologies, and field practices.
Working in close collaboration with NORCAP’s Thematic Manager for Conflict Monitoring and Prevention, the consultant will review and redraft relevant sections of the Manual, propose updates to the training format and content.
Methodology:
The consultancy will be home-based. The consultant will work together with NORCAP’s Thematic Manager – Conflict Monitoring and Prevention.
Duration:
The work should be carried out over 30 days between November 2025 and January 2026.
