Realities form the Ground: Women’s Housing, Land and Property Rights in the Gaza Strip

NRC|Published 15. Oct 2013
This research report focuses on women’s HLP rights in Palestine, with a particular focus on the Gaza Strip, and aims to further develop Information, Counselling, and Legal Assistance (ICLA) programmes in place there.

This country report is part of the Displaced Women’s Housing, Land and Property Rights Project, which will also feature Afghanistan, Colombia, Lebanon, Liberia, and South Sudan. These country experiences will contribute to a global report and draw wider lessons for policy makers regarding the barriers faced by displaced women as they seek access to housing, land, and property rights.

This report has been produced by the Norwegian Refugee Council, with assistance from the European Union, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA), and UK Department for International Development (DFID).
