The conflict between the Nigerian Armed Forces and Islamic extremists Boko Haram has left over 20,000 people killed over the past nine years. Being a highly volatile and difficult-to-access context, little is known about the intentions of the 1.8 million people internally displaced in Nigeria’s northeast. It investigates if communities are ready to return home, where they will go and when. This document is a summary of the key findings and recommendations of the report.
