Delivered with financial support from Norway and Germany between 2023 and 2024, the programme combined financial assistance with entrepreneurship training, mentorship, legal assistance and technical support delivered by NRC and its local partners. The delivery of the programme was 100 per cent through local partners AFAM and AID.
The activity update includes findings from our medium- to long-term outcome monitoring exercise covering 82 of 97 business grant recipients supported in Chișinău, northern Moldova, and the Left Bank of the Nistru River. It highlights how this package of support contributed to economic self-reliance, household resilience and socio-economic integration, while also identifying remaining barriers and recommendations for strengthening future livelihoods programming in Moldova.
