The European Commission has presented its new Pact on Migration and Asylum aiming to establish an EU-wide predictable mechanism to deal with migration.
The implementation of strong solidarity mechanisms, adequate protection safeguards and a due process where people forced to leave their homes have access to information, counselling and legal advice are urgently needed.
