Handbook for the fundamental rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons

The handbook outlines the key legislative issues related to the rights and freedoms of internally displace persons (IDPs): registration and deregistration, civil documentation, social benefits and allowances, rights to employment, education and medical aid, electoral rights. The manual also defines powers of local self-government authorities in ensuring rights and freedoms of IDPs. It is a good resource of contacts of central governmental institutions and self-government bodies and local authorities which are entitled to provide services for IDPs in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The handbook was developed in accordance with applicable legislation of Ukraine and can serve as a guidance for civil servants, lawyers, authorities, protection and non-governmental organisations
