The humanitarian situation in Ethiopia remains critical, driven by the overlapping and compounding effects of conflict, climatic and seismic shocks, recurrent disease outbreaks, and influxes of refugees and asylum seekers. The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has provided assistance since 2011.
