The Better Learning Programme (BLP) is NRC’s flagship classroom-based psychosocial support intervention, designed to help children and youth in crisis-affected communities recover and thrive. Rooted in a holistic and multi-layered approach, BLP brings together teachers, caregivers, and counsellors to create safe, supportive learning environments that foster healing, restore a sense of normalcy, and nurture hope. Flexible and adaptable, the programme equips trained educators and facilitators to deliver effective support even in the most challenging and under-resourced humanitarian settings—making it a vital tool in emergency education responses.
