While authorities are reporting gradual returns in some areas, humanitarian needs remain high in several parts of the country.
With the support of its partners, the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) implemented projects aimed at improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations and strengthening their capacity to cope with crises. In 2025, at least 208,123 people, 50.4 per cent of whom were women and girls, were assisted by NRC through a multi-sectoral response combining direct implementation and local partnerships.
