NRC has concluded the investigation into the potential ICT security threat and has found no evidence that our systems or data were compromised.
However, in the process we identified opportunities to further strengthen our ICT security controls, improve data quality practices, and further enhance our incident response capabilities.
NRC remains committed to safeguarding our data and systems globally.
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has recently become aware of a potential security issue affecting the integrity of our ICT systems. NRC takes any threats to our systems extremely seriously.
A crisis management team has been established and an external investigation has been initiated. We are working to understand whether there has been any impact on our systems or data and to take actions to respond accordingly.
At this stage, we do not have confirmation that our systems or data have been affected.
