In order to meet the needs of more than 100 million displaced people worldwide, we need to unite forces across sectors and work together as one team. Through mutual partnerships we are dedicated to finding unique solutions for people who have been forced to flee, helping them build a sustainable future for themselves and their communities.

The global displacement situation is one our time’s greatest challenges and a partnership with NRC can help you maximise your social impact and contribute to solving a global challenge. You can get unique insight from our experienced humanitarian workers and exchange expertise. A partnership with NRC can also be your opportunity to discover innovative solutions towards assisting people in most need.

NRC works hard to find the best solutions and deliver services in areas where few other organisations operate. We take great pride in tailoring each partnership to help you maximise your social impact and achieve your strategic objectives. We have a dedicated private sector partnerships team that personally follows up on all partner correspondence, offers strategic advice, assists with employee engagment, and more.

NRC is a strongly principled organisation. We believe in transparency and hold ourselves accountable to our donors, partners, staff and the displaced people we serve. To maintain the integrity of our work, we adhere to these principles:

**Non-discrimination and respect for human dignity:**
We are dedicated to providing support for the most vulnerable – regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, political views or disabilities.

**Transparency:**
We ensure that details on how we work and where our funds go are accessible and visible. Corruption, theft and mismanagement are common in many of the countries where we operate. NRC has robust [anti-corruption](https://www.nrc.no/who-we-are/accountability#anti-corruption) and [risk management](https://www.nrc.no/resources/reports/nrc-risk-management-toolkit-2015) systems. **Cost-efficiency:**
More than 90 per cent of NRC's costs are used in the crisis-affected countries where we operate. NRC’s current administrative costs average between 9-10% of our global budget. Read more about [our finances](https://www.nrc.no/who-we-are/finances).

**Ethical guidelines:**
Our partners share our values on human rights, employees' rights, the environment and anticorruption. We don't partner with companies whose main business comes from weapons sales, alcohol or tobacco related products. **Monitoring and evaluation:**
We routinely reflect on our experiences and projects in the field, critically assessing our projects at the field and management levels.

At NRC, we take pride in [the principles of our humanitarian action](https://www.nrc.no/what-we-do/speaking-up-for-rights/humanitarian-access).

**NRC's Capital Fund**

The Norwegian Refugee Council has created a capital fund to enhance the sustainability of humanitarian operations, with the initial focus of financing the replacement of diesel generators with solar technology.
