The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent, humanitarian, non-profit, nongovernmental organisation which provides assistance and support to conflict-affected persons in 39 countries worldwide. Within the scope of this support, NRC delivers Education programming in 37 countries of operation1 , under theories of change (ToCs) related to supporting formal education; delivering non-formal education services; providing flexible education pathways for youth; and first-line education response (FLER).
As part of NRC First Line Education Response (FLER) Programme, we are seeking a consultant (remote) to provide technical and coordination support to help conduct a mapping exercise to address this gap in understanding and inform an accurate and up-to-date overview of the current scope and status of Education RRMs across countries in which the organisation has Education programmes. This mapping will support strategic planning and targeting at a global level and will allow NRC to better coordinate programming; avoid duplication and ensure maximised use of resources; and deliver cohesive and complementary services to targeted communities.
