How we work
The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee. We work in crises across 40 countries, providing life-saving and long-term assistance to millions of people every year.
Inspiration
Seljestad Primary School
Seljestad Primary School donated the earnings from their yearly solidarity jog to NRC’s work with displaced people.
Claes Holmberg
Claes Holmberg ran an impressive 76km of Flyktningruta, the route used by Norwegians fleeing to Sweden during World War Two. Claes challenged his friends to donate 2 Norwegian kroner per kilometre to NRC’s work.
