The people of Ukraine need your help now. We have no time to lose.

The situation in Ukraine is increasingly chaotic. Hundreds of thousands are currently fleeing in search of safety, and it’s impossible to keep track of the number of people who have been displaced. The UN refugee agency, UNHCR, estimates that as many as four million Ukrainians may seek protection in other countries in the coming days and weeks.

NRC’s main focus areas in the days and weeks ahead will be cash aid, shelter and water. We will be deploying two emergency response teams to Poland and Moldova, two of Ukraine’s neighbouring countries, to provide immediate humanitarian relief to refugees crossing the borders.

Thank you so much for supporting people forced to flee.

The Norwegian Refugee Council has been present in Ukraine since 2014, helping more than 700,000 people with food, shelter, water, sanitation and legal assistance.
