What you’ll be funding
At least 300,000 people have been made homeless by the explosion. We are working in the most affected neighbourhoods to make sure that residents can live in safe and dignified conditions. We’re removing rubble, repairing doors and windows, providing clean water and our engineers are checking the structural stability of buildings.
For the families who are not able to remain in their homes due to structural and severe damages, we are facilitating emergency accommodation.
For extremely vulnerable families we are providing one-off payments to help cover their immediate medical, food or other needs.
We are also providing rehabilitation of health facilities that have been affected by the blast.
