Position paper
This position paper presents an overview of women’s access to housing, land, and property rights in the Central African Republic.

The cultural and societal structures of marriage within the CAR, exacerbated by the uprooting of families due to conflict, left many women vulnerable and subject to evictions from the family home by their partners or partners’ families. The conclusion offers a series of recommendations for further research and assistance to be taken at the international level to help women reclaim their rights.
