As follow-up to the Norad-NMFA organisational review of NRC in 2006 ("Durable Management for Durable Solutions"), Norad has conducted another review of NRC's preformance.
This time, the evaluation team did not undertake any visits to programme countries, however, two country directors participated in a phone interview.
While some of the processes initiated as follow-up to the review in 2006 have been slower than expected, the team concludes that NRC has become more professional in many aspects.
The organisation has come closer to an "NRC way" through the development of tools, systematised training of staff, etc. NRC also operates in line with the Norwegian Government's development policy.
Norad is keen to follow the further development of the Global Result Monitoring and Reporting System and NRC's work on risk analysis and management as well as implementation models and partnerships
